Part 8. Exceptions to License Requirements

Licenses For Residents Over 62 Years Of Age

87-2-801. (Temporary) Licenses for residents over 62 years of age. A resident, as defined in 87-2-102, who is 62 years of age or older may purchase the following for one-half the cost:

(1) a Class A fishing license;

(2) a Class A-1 upland game bird license;

(3) a Class A-3 deer A tag;

(4) a Class A-5 elk tag;

(5) a Class AAA combination sports license that does not include a Class A-6 black bear tag.

87-2-801. (Effective March 1, 2020) Licenses for residents over 62 years of age. A resident, as defined in 87-2-102, who is 62 years of age or older may purchase the following for one-half the cost:

(1) a wildlife conservation license;

(2) a Class A fishing license;

(3) a Class A-1 upland game bird license;

(4) a Class A-3 deer A tag;

(5) a Class A-5 elk tag;

(6) a Class AAA combination sports license that does not include a Class A-6 black bear tag.
