The Economic Affairs Interim Committee of the Legislature has invited Montana officials involved in unemployment and housing issues to provide updates via a teleconference meeting April 9 on impacts related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The telephonic meeting will start at 10 a.m.  Due to COVID-19 public health concerns and the resulting Governor's emergency declaration and social distancing restrictions, the public is prohibited from physically attending this meeting in the State Capitol Building. This meeting is only open to the public electronically. The meeting will also be audio streamed live on the internet. Anyone wishing to provide public comment to the committee is encouraged to do so in writing prior to the meeting. Comments on any topic under the jurisdiction of the committee are welcome. All comments received by legislative staff prior to 5 p.m. on April 8, will be forwarded to the Economic Affairs Interim Committee members. Comments sent to the committee members during or immediately after adjournment of the meeting will be included in the committee minutes as part of the public record, unless personally identifiable and protected information is contained in the document.
