The Legislature’s Economic Affairs Interim Committee chose at its Nov. 7 meeting to limit its study of whether to expand emergency care providers’ activities, particularly related to veterans, and decided Nov. 8 to get information from more sources related to its study of workers’ compensation, specifically the future of Montana State Fund.

Along with undertaking standard agency reviews of three state agencies at its Nov. 7, 2017, meeting, the Economic Affairs Interim Committee (EAIC) will begin work on two of its three assigned studies. The EAIC will devote a full day on Nov. 8 to the third study, which is on workers’ compensation. The meetings will be in Room 137 of the State Capitol.
