Public Comment Form     Remote Participation Form

Senate Bill 11 created a Criminal Justice Data Warehouse that is housed in the Board of Crime Control (BOCC). The purpose of the criminal justice data warehouse is to receive, store, secure, and maintain data and information from contributing entities to assist state and local officials to make data-informed decisions about the criminal justice system.

The BOCC is to consult and collaborate with the Criminal Justice Oversight Council (CJOC) to prioritize data requested from contributing entities, data requests, and research using data from the criminal justice data warehouse; and establish policies to address the creation of reports generated through the query of records and data in the criminal justice data warehouse.

This work group was created at the CJOC March 19, 2024, meeting to facilitate the collaboration to determine research priorities to answer existing questions about the criminal justice system, to prioritize data collection, and to develop data warehouse governance policies.
