Meeting and Membership Information

The Joint Rules Committee will meet in a hybrid meeting on Monday, October 19 at 2:00 p.m. in a hybrid meeting on Zoom and from Rm 317 in the Capitol Building.

Public participation:  These are public meetings. If you wish to view only, the meeting will be streamed live on and broadcast on the Montana Public Affairs Network (MPAN). If you want to participate, please email Susan Fox at sfox@mt.gov with your name and a request, and you will be sent conference call  information to participate. A time will be provided for oral public comment on the agenda. Requests for conference call participation must be received by 10 a.m. the day of the meeting. If you want to provide written testimony, please email testimony to sfox@mt.gov or submit public comments through the "Submit Public Comment" button below.

There will be a Joint Rules Committee meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020.  This will be a hybrid meeting held from Room 317 in the State Capitol and via Zoom.  The agenda will be to discuss the following 4 proposed amendments and comments.

On September 17, the House Rules Committee, and as affirmed by the Senate Rules Committee members who were present, requested the four proposed rule amendments to be sent to all legislators for comment.  Please submit comment above using "Provide comments" or send directly to sfox@mt.gov.
